NCC: Recruits of Discipline and Cohesive Forces
The cadets of the NCC Unit remain throbbing with energy throughout the year. The cadets attend various camps organised at the centre level by NCC Directorates and group HQ. They participate in different events. NCC cadets also get opportunities to participate in Republic Day Prade, Prime Minister Rally, New Delhi etc. The cadets add glory to the institution by winning various appreciations and awards.
Aims and Objectives of NCC
- ֍ To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, adventurous spirit and the ideal of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens.
- ֍ To create, a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide multidisciplinary leadership skills, including armed forces and be always available to serve the nation.
- ֍ To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take the career in the armed forces.

Benefits of NCC
The cadets attend various camps organized at the Central Level by NCC Directorates and participate in events like Mountaineering, Tracking, Firing, Rock Climbing and Para Sailing etc. They also get opportunities to participate in Republic Day Parade, Prime Minister Rally New Delhi, Youth Exchange Programmes at International Level. There have ample opportunities to make career in Military and Para Military as there is direct entry for 'C' Certificate holders. The students who opt for NCC get weightage while recruitment to various Central Government Jobs. They also have added advantage for State Police, BSF and other Forces.

'Unity and Discipline'
The motto of NCC, 'Unity and Discipline' was adopted on 23rd December, 1957. In living upto its motto, the NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country and moulding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of the nation.
